The house is fully self contained.
It is fully air-conditioned, with a large unit in the living room, and individual units in each bedroom.
There are security screens on all windows and doors and it is set amongst a tropical garden.
There is a spa in a separate room, which adjoins the internal garage. For added security there are two entry doors. One adjoins the garage and another allows internal entry from the spa room. The spa room is separated from the covered outdoor entertainment area by large glass doors,
The property is fully fenced with a courtyard to the front, and a BBQ area under shade sails to the back. There is a single car garage and additional parking for two vehicles is available under shade sail cover.
The living area is open plan, with comfy leather lounges. Included is a flat screen TV and Austar. We provide a selection of DVD’s for the family. We have a library of books which you are welcome to use, and if you like you can swap a book with ours.
A six person dining suite adjoins the kitchen breakfast bar. The dining chairs are leather.
The kitchen is fully functional, with heaps of cupboards, oven, microwave, range hood, dishwasher, full sized fridge, and water filter.
There is plenty of crockery and all the items that would be expected in any normal home. We supply electric frypans, slow cooker, sandwich maker, mixer, everything you would need to make your stay comfortable.
A full size pantry contains all the basics that might be required for a holiday, no need to bring any condiments, coffee, teas, sugar or cooking items.
Each bed has a chiropractic pillow top mattresses, and ample pillows suitable for all sleeping styles. Two bedrooms are queen size, and there is one single bedroom with two single beds. The main bedroom contains TV and DVD player.
We provide woollen doonas for winter.
All the bedrooms have plenty of storage, with full length sliding mirror doors on the cupboards which are fitted out with wire racks.
We cater fully for the youngest member of the family, with porta cot, high chair, baby bath and all the linen necessary.
All linen is supplied, including high thread count sheets,towels, blankets, doonas, beach towels, tea towels, table cloths. Having a BBQ? Or a picnic? Then we have catered for this as well.
The laundry consists of front loading washing machine, dryer and no you don’t even have to bring the washing powder, it is all supplied.
The bathroom has a separate shower closet and a bath.
We supply all the necessary requirements because we believe that a holiday should not consist of having to pack the car with all those grocery items you might require, but just your own personal items.
Our motto is “We want you to enjoy your stay in Hervey Bay in our home away from home”.
Our model is quite different to that which is normally presented in a Holiday Home, so that is what makes it rather unique.
Our pricing has remained the same for 5 years, why? Because we have a very high number of bookings. We hope we can maintain that expectation.
We can provide comprehensive information in terms of what attractions there are in Hervey Bay, and we consider having all the answers in the one place is better for our clients.
When booking the house, we don’t charge any extra for guests, unlike most rentals who have a nominal charge then have additional charges for extra guests.
With us, it is as it is one price for the house, no matter how many guests.
We offer a minimum of two night stays and have often been booked for very long term as well.
Our house is walking distance to the Esplanade, shops, clubs and restaurants.

Makings of breakfast: bacon, sausages, eggs, milk, butter, toast bread, juice, tomatoes and fruit. Coffee, tea and all basics are supplied in our well stocked pantry.
We supply a dog bed, and bowls, towels and shampoo. Doggie bags are to be used to dispose of any evidence of your dog. Dogs must be non-barkers, non-diggers, registered and people friendly. They must not be allowed on the furniture or the carpets or rug.

| Payment details | After booking is confirmed a further payment of $200 is required within 24 hours. Wotif enquirers pay a deposit directly to Wotif and the balance of the $200 directly to us. Payment can be made by Direct Deposit, Paypal, or Paymate. We do not accept credit cards at this stage, and recommend Paypal for credit card payments. Payments for stays are due at least 14 days prior to arrival. An email reminder will be sent usually in the month prior to your stay. Payments can be made at any time throughout the year, for your convenience. Last minute payment options are CASH only when we will meet you with the keys. If this is the case we will provide you with our contact number We DO NOT charge for pets, linen hire or cot hire. We will charge up to $250 for cleaning if the property is not left as it was found. We will charge and invoice you for any damages. We do not charge a bond, other than a $100 pet bond for longer stays, and that bond is refundable to you provided there is no damage. |

| Getting there | The house is located in Scarness, which is very central to all facilities in Hervey Bay. The airport is 10 minutes away, the bus terminal for interstate buses is 10 minutes away at the Stockland Shopping Centre. Local town buses stop at the head of our street in Torquay Terrace. We are about 300 metres from the Woolworths Shopping Centre in Torquay Terrace. |
| Parking | We have a single lock up garage, with parking available for two vehicles on our driveway. There is a sail shade over the driveway. As we are located in a short laneway, there is additional parking 100 metres at the end of the cul-de-sac. We do not have any kerb and channel, so parking on the grass verge in front of our fence is also an option. |
