The Lodge is a single storey, standalone building constructed in authentic Tropical Queenslander style. It is fully self-catering and each room is air-conditioned.

Two enormous bedrooms, both with a king bed that can be converted to two king single beds, are separated by a large comfortable lounge/dining area. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite.

The luxury of The Lodge is embodied in the quality of the furnishings and fittings which include a widescreen 106cm plasma TV, DVD player and stereo, a full gourmet kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave and stainless steel appliances), and a private laundry with washing machine and dryer.

As a guest of the Port Douglas Lodge you will have exclusive use of your own heated pool, sundeck and gas BBQ, all set in lush tropical gardens and perfect for outdoor dining under the stars on the balmy tropical evenings.

All bed linens, towels and beach towels are provided. The Lodge also features ceiling fans, hair dryer, free local phone calls and a dedicated wireless connection.

Cancellations or changes to bookings for this room will not be permitted for any reason. Once confirmed a booking cannot be refunded or altered in any way.

Bond details Credit Card details are held by us until a departure check has been carried out by the property manager.
Payment details Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit of the total booking cost. Payment is accepted by direct bank deposit or credit card (Visa or Mastercard only). Payment details will be provided to you via email once your booking is processed through Wotif.com Full payment must be received within 30 days prior to check in. Any bookings made within 30 days prior to check in must be paid immediately. Failure to pay the full cost by the due date shall be treated as a cancellation.

Arrival 1400hrs
Arrival instructions Check in time is 2.00pm. Your hosts will personally meet and greet you at The Cottage to welcome you with knowledgeable information about the surrounding area.
Departure 1000hrs
Getting there An hour’s travel north from the City of Cairns and Cairns International Airport, Port Douglas Cottage nestles in the heart of Port Douglas Village at 4 Owen Street.

Being so centrally located, guests at Port Douglas Cottage have no need to go to the expense of renting a car unless travelling out of town. All Port Douglas attractions are within easy walking distance.

On request, transfers to and from Cairns International or Domestic Terminals can be arranged with one of the local transfer companies.

Current charges are:

Mini bus: $34 per person one way
Standard limousine and driver: $175 one way
Stretch limousine and driver: $250 one way

Guests will be met at the airport arrivals carousel area by a driver displaying a placard with their name, and will be transported to our door. Payment can be made on arrival at The Cottage.
Parking There is an off-street car parking space just outside the Lodge.
