With sweeping views of Lake Daylesford and the forest beyond, BILSON'S LANDING is just metres from the Lake House and a few minutes walk from the town centre. Beautifully appointed, it features original art work and quality appliances throughout. There is a massive, fully-equipped chef's kitchen, with Smeg oven and cooktop, two-door icemaker fridge and Nespresso coffee machine.
Entertain in the large dining room (seating for eight), relax in front of the gas log fire, or enjoy a movie on the 95-inch cinema screen and projector with surround sound. Choose from our DVD and BluRay collection, or the large high definition media library provided. A comprehensive music library with multi-zone Bose speakers and Wi-Fi internet connection is also provided.
The balcony provides the perfect spot to dine and watch the sunset over Wombat State Forest and the lake below.
There are three sumptuous bedrooms, each with its own en-suite with rain shower. The luxurious king-size beds can be split into up to six singles. Be sure to specify the number of beds when booking. The front bedroom has a two-person Body Therapy spa bath.

| Bond details | A valid credit card is required as security for all bookings. In addition, a refundable security bond of $500 may be requested in some circumstances to cover possible damage, excess rubbish removal or additional cleaning, payable at the same time as the balance of your tariff. The bond is refundable within 7 business days of your stay. If we agree to accept your pet, a refundable bond of $100 is payable to cover any damage or additional cleaning. |
| Payment details | Payment of the rental amount constitutes the client's acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. A total instalment of 40% of the fee (after the initial deposit paid to Wotif.com) is required to confirm your booking if you book more than 4 weeks prior to your arrival. If you book less than 4 weeks prior to your arrival, the total fee (i.e. 100%) must be paid to confirm your booking. The balance of payment will be is required 30 days prior to your arrival. Our preferred payment method is by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Other payment methods will require a refundable security bond of $500 to cover possible damage, extra cleaning, or excessive rubbish removal. This deposit is refunded within 7 working days of your stay. |

| Getting there | Daylesford is just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne city or Melbourne airport. Travel either via the Western Highway to the Ballan/Daylesford turnoff (turn right to Daylesford) or via the Calder Freeway, turn off at Woodend and follow the signs to Daylesford. Full directions to the property will be provided once your booking is confirmed. Train or bus transport is available to Woodend or Ballan stations but the service from there to Daylesford is infrequent. Check the Vline website for timetables and further details. |

| Things to do | Directly opposite beautiful Lake Daylesford, and just metres from iconic Lake House restaurant and wedding venue, Bilson's Landing has sweeping views of the lake and the forest beyond, yet is only a few minutes walk to the vibrant town centre. All the attractions of the region are at your doorstep: award-winning restaurants, wineries, great shopping and of course all the pampering available in the spa centre of Australia. There is so much to do in Daylesford: visit the historic Convent Gallery; walk around Lake Daylesford, and visit the many mineral springs that abound; shop up a storm in the vast Mill Market; there are cafes galore, and gorgeous shops and galleries line the main street; wander through Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens high on the hill. Don’t forget the Chocolate Mill, beautiful Lavandula lavender farm and finish off with an indulgent spa or massage. |
