| Getting there | Drive along Great Alpine Road which becomes Gavan St. When you come to a roundabout, Star Hotel will be on your left. Take the immediate left turn on to Star Road and drive over Star Bridge, until you come to a T-Intersection. Turn right into Toorak Road and stay on that road until you come to the only left turn which is Mount Porepunkah Rd. Drive up the hill and Bella Rouge Cottage is on the right with a big red roof. |

During summer, Bright is great for catching a trout in the mountain streams, sitting by, rafting, floating or swimming in the clear Ovens River. Choose to sip fine wines from the Alpine Valleys, have a gourmet picnic by the shady riversides, dine on locally sourced produce at the wide range of restaurants and street side cafes or enjoy music in the park. Have coffee and cake, visit the bakeries or have fun on the river waterslide.
