The accommodation is in walking distance to shops, club, cafes, a family hotel, supermarket and park.
We offer several accommodation packages in a variety of configurations, each with fully equipped kitchens so you can self cater.
One pet friendly accommodation option overlooks Carberry Park and offers a terrace garden with alfresco dining area with undercover dog area and small kennel (need own dog chains,leads,bedding,bowls, and enters from Otway Street with off-street parking; a large kitchen; open plan sleeping, dining and lounge areas and its own bathroom with shower. Another section of the accommodation (Lyndhurst) has entry from Kitchener Street with three bedrooms, open plan lounge/kitchen area with formal dining room and reading nook. There is also a separate bathroom. On street parking only.
The Lodge is a separate pet friendly dwelling at 46 Otway St with 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 adults (1Qu.2 Dbl) and is pet friendly. Pet gate at combined laundry/bathroom door. No pets in main house or bedrooms but can use combine laundry bathroom area which has it's own back door to patio. Off street undercover parking at rear.

If you wish to rent Lyndhurst, it's a five stair climb through the adjoining hallway which is locked off when rented separately. Or enter from Kitchener street ramp.You have the option of the double bedroom which has its own vanity. This area gives you access to a second bathroom with toilet. You also get two separate bedrooms each with double beds. There is a kitchenette, dining room and full lounge, sitting room etc. which can also be accessed through 10 Kitchener Street, Gundagai.
LYNDHURST is situated at 10 Kitchener St, Gundagai. No pets. No off-street parking.
Street parking. One car space in back area - access from Park Terrace, Otway Street. A path leads from there towards the front street to Kitchener St.
Lyndhurst has four large bedrooms; one queen and three doubles. The master bedroom has a vanity, queen bed, bedside table with lamp, chair, clothes rack, electric oil heater and shelving unit. The first bedroom has a double bed, desk, wardrobe, one bedside table with lamp, bookshelf with lamp, desk with lamp and oil heater. The second bedroom has a double bed but no door, Cupboard and sideboard with drawers, desk, lamp and chair. Lyndhurst has a large central dining table with seating for six plus a sideboard. The kitchenette has basic cooking equipment, mini bench-top stove and grill, mini bench-top crisper oven, microwave and mid-sized fridge plus sink. All crockery, cutlery, plastic containers, cooking utensils, platters, basins, wine glasses, glasses and mugs are provided. Dish washing liquid, cloth, tea towel, sugar, tea bags and coffee sachets are also provided. This area is open plan and air conditioned plus electric heating. There is a small table and chairs for a game of cards, board games or to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun.
An extra couch and chairs create a reading nook under the front window to take advantage of the morning sunlight. The seating area has a large open plan lounge room with a velvet modular sofa, chairs, coffee table, digital TV, lamps.
There is also an iron, ironing board and cleaning products.
One car space for Lyndhurst - path entrance through to Kitchener Street lodgings.
THE LODGE
A separate 100 year old dwelling that used to be the Masonic Temple in the 1930's -step back in time and take advantage of this fully renovated two storey dwelling. Bottom floor for rent right now. Pet friendly but no animals past the pet gate at bathroom/laundry door please.
A home away from home...
It has three large bedrooms; 1 queen and 2 doubles. with clothes racks, luggage rack, side tables, blanket box - fully carpeted.
The Lodge is open plan living area with a full size kitchen with electric four element stove with oven and grill, medium size fridge, cooking implements, cutlery, crockery, glasses, mugs, cupboards, shelving, pantry, small table and four chairs for dining plus stools at kitchen bench.
The lounge offers digital TV and DVD player.There is a separate bathroom with shower, vanity basin and shelving with separate toilet. The bathrooms is a combined laundry with washer and dryer - this room leads to outside clothes line. Walk out into back yard (down one step) and there is a large carport - shared area - one space undercover plus one car space behind. Also bin area.
Outside picnic table sheltered by top verandah - great shade for your dogs during the day. Pets must be on a chain when outside and BYO bedding and bowls.
All doggy-doos to be bagged and binned. All bins to be emptied on leaving. Recycled rubbish in green lid bins and other rubbish in red lid bins.
All kitchens to be left clean and tidy i.e. dishes washed and put away, benches wiped, rubbish removed. Properties must be vacated by 10am. Any destructive damage will be charged to your card.
TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE
Located on Sheridan Street near the corner of West Street. It also has a bus terminal. This where you see Dad, Dave, Mum and Mabel statues in bronze and the Rusconi's Masterpiece made of Gundagai and Australian Marble.
Please note check in instructions. We do not operate a 24 hour reception. Minor delays will be catered for however keys will not be left in doors. Ring when approaching town to arrange keys.

The Guesthouse is also just four minutes walk from the Gundagai Golf Links, tennis courts, Municipal Olympic swimming pool, bowling club and the ex-services club. The Lodge is one block higher up Otway Street, over punch street (Oppos. Anglican Church)
