Crimson Villa is nestled within its own spacious garden area, secluded above Catalina Reserve in the Blue Mountains National Park wilderness with picturesque mountain walks and spectacular views nearby. Close to the main mountain village of Katoomba yet far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. Feed the abundant birds from Crimson Rosellas to King Parrots and Bower Birds in the garden. Only a few minutes to the Three Sisters, the Scenic Railway and Katoomba's cafes and galleries.
The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining room and laundry facilities. The lounge has a flat screen TV, DVD and video along with a selection of DVDs, videos, books, magazines and games. Sleeps up to five, with one queen bed, two singles and the lounge converts to a sofa bed if required.
For the families we have available a high chair, porta cot and children?s table and chairs and a toy box complete with train set.
Lots of local information is provided including tourist papers, brochures and local attractions complete with maps and walking track books.

| Getting there | Located 90 minutes from Sydney this is a perfect getaway to uplift your senses and blow the cobwebs away. An easy drive just off the Great Western Highway, take the first exit, Old Bathurst Road, after the main Katoomba traffic lights (Yeomans Bridge). Turn right then left into Valley Road past the Emergency Centre. Entry to Mission St is via the first street on the left, wind 200 metres down the street and Crimson Villa is on the right, number 5A Mission Street. The property is 2km from Katoomba Railway Station, turn right out of the station and there is a taxi rank available (it will cost $6 to $8 cab fare) or keep walking and Main Street becomes Old Bathurst Road. Follow the directions above. It?s about a 2km journey. |

| Things to do | Whilst Crimson Villa is out of the hustle and bustle, it is only five minutes to all the major attractions including Scenic World, the Three Sisters, Echo Point Lookout and walking tracks of the Jamieson Valley. The same distance to the main street of Katoomba is where you will find supermarkets, bakeries, ATMs, cafes and restaurants a plenty. Situated between Blackheath and Wentworth Falls, 10 to 15 minutes to experience the great bushwalks of the Grose Valley at Blackheath and the largest waterfalls in the mountains, Wentworth Falls to the east and the famous National Pass trail. It?s a great place to stay if you?re considering a trip to Jenolan Caves (a 1½ hour trip) or Mt Tomah and the Zig Zag Railway (45 minutes).
