Couran Cove McCubbin Holiday House
Eco Cabin 6510 in the McCubbin precinct of Couran Cove is a spacious, 2.5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, self-catering holiday house nestled in bushland close to pristine white beaches, majestic rainforest and native Australian wildlife. Sleeping up to six, this tri-level cabin features a fully equipped kitchen with gas cook-top and microwave, large dining and living areas, fully screened verandahs, ceiling fans, cosy gas fireplace, flat screen television, DVD player and barbecue.
This privately owned house at Couran Cove is a perfect destination for a relaxing family holiday or romantic escape at an affordable price. The resort is now open again and guests at the eco-cabins still have access to the Resort pools, tennis courts and sports centre and newly refurbished restaurants. 3 bikes are provided by the private owner for your use or you may bring your own bikes over on your boat, ferry or water taxi from Runaway Bay. Apart from a few resort service vehicles, Couran Cove is free from traffic allowing children and adults to safely enjoy walking and cycling around this beautiful part of the Island.
The general store and cafe at Couran Cove marina is open daily from 10AM - 2PM. Coffee, cafe lines and full beveridge service are available as well as fresh bread, fruit, meat and vegetables, frozen meals and most supermarket lines. The Spa Island restaurant and marina bistro welcome guests for lunch and dinner. There is now an option to bring your own linen instead of hiring and a coin operated laundry for guests is situated just east of the sports centre. If you wish to hire linen the charges are as follows -:
Single : $15 Includes bed sheets, pillowcase, bath towel & linen bag.
Queen $20 Queen : $20 Includes bed sheets, 2 pillowcases, 2 bath towels & linen bag
King : $20 Includes bed sheets, 2 pillowcases, 2 bath towels & linen bag. On the day of departure, please place all hired linen in the bag provided and place on the verandah for pick up.

| Bond details | The security bond of $200 will be refunded in full within two weeks of your departure if the property is left in a satisfactory state and all contents are accounted for. On departure, please leave hired linen in the linen bag on the verandah. All doona covers should be left on the beds. Please empty the kitchen rubbish and wash all dirty dishes. On departure, please check all gas appliances, fans and lights are turned off and close the windows and lock the doors. |
| Payment details | Payment is by electronic funds transfer or cheque only. The owner will contact you to arrange payment of the deposit which will be 50% of the total accommodation cost. Payment for linen or resort ferry transfers will also be payable at this time. Payment will be by direct transfer into the owners account or by cheque only. The balance of the accommodation fee is payable five days before commencement of the booking. The booking will not be honoured if all fees and charges are not received in the owners account before commencement of the booking. |

| Getting there | Travel to the resort is either by resort ferry, water taxi or private boat. Private boat - inform the cabin owner of the make and registration number of your boat and moor for free while staying as a guest. Water Taxi - Zanes water taxi ph 0404995970. The water taxi leaves from Runaway Bay marina and costs $80 for 1-8 people and will transport luggage and bikes. Couran Cove Island Resort scheduled passenger ferry service from Hope Harbour on the Gold Coast. FERRY TICKETS- $25 per adult return $12.50 per child return Children's fares are for children aged 3-14 inclusive. Infants 0-2 travel free. FERRY TIMETABLE: All days the ferry departs Hope Harbour at 8.00AM and departs Couran Cove at 5PM. The cabin owner will phone you to organise your ferry transfers. |
