It is surrounded by towering mountains and beautiful scenery and is relatively more liberal than many other places in the country. It is a haven for foodies, with a huge concentration of places to enjoy a delicious meal. Pay a visit to Shamian Island and admire the wonderful mix of French and British architecture, and relax as you try some bird spotting at the lovely Nansha Wetland.
