Loved this hotel! As our first stop on a visit to China it was a lovely place to stay. Breakfast was awesome. Walking distance to Yu garden and old Shanghai and a little further but still walking distance to The Bund and the pedestrian shopping street.
A beautiful balcony upstairs to sit for breakfast or at night with a drink to look at the city lights.
Great sized room with a great shower.
Highly recommend

Nice hotel with great breakfasts and location
Pros:Great location and staff, nice size rooms and thai décor very tranquil.
Cons:Just little things need fixing in the rooms such as wallpaper lifting.
Location:15 mins walk to the Bund. 2 mins walk to Yu Gardens.
The SSAW Narada Boutique Hotel was an excellent base for our 2 night stay in Shanghai. Close to Yu Gardens and the Metro, only 10 minutes walk to the Bund. Staff friendly and very efficient - ordering uber's and taxi's for us and also, we had a blocked toilet and within a minute of contacting reception, a bloke was at our door to fix it. My highlight was the garden bar that at night looks amazing and you can sit and enjoy a drink amongst all the neon's of the skyscrapers. When it's not raining though!
It's a 3.5-4 star hotel with Thai accents (not Chinese surprisingly) throughout from check-in to the room décor, however some little touches needed seeing too so I can't really rate it any higher - like an 'Asian drain' smell coming from the shower, wallpaper starting to lift around the edges and some type of tinting plastic that's stuck to the inside of the windows that was coming away and bubbling.
Get the breakfast buffet included in your rate if you can, is well worth it with a delicious range of western & Asian treats to start your day off. Good coffee too.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again if I had the chance to return to Shanghai.
