"Nice place to stay in a dated city! "
Super friendly staff, really professional. Only downfall is that the rooms have only one Power point for charging phones, using straightners etc and it's in a cupboard by the fridge. Also, the toilet was a little noisey and the walls are quite thin as we could hear into the neighbouring room.

"Lovely hotel close to the city "
We had a lovely stay here. Spent the long weekend in Rotorua (didn't feel long) as time flew by with all the things to do here! Hotel was lovely and clean and we really enjoyed the spa bath with the perfect view of the tv which we watched DVDs on that the hotel provided. Would definitely recommend and we will be back for sure. (:

Rotorua’s famous geysers and mud pools are yours to explore. Your adventure begins from the moment you arrive, with the scent of sulphur all around you. Steam escapes from crevices in the ground, gardens bloom alongside bubbling craters and geysers shoot for the sky in this geothermal haven. And our Rotorua hotels are located right on the doorstep of mineral pools, mud wraps and massages, where you can relax and indulge.

If you want to experience traditional Maori culture, there’s no better place than Rotorua. Join a cultural tour or visit the Tamaki Maori Village to learn more about the Maori way of life. Watch as tattooed warriors perform the ancestral haka war dance while women weave crafts by a campfire. Tuck into a Hangi Feast, a meal prepared by steaming food under the earth on hot rocks. Maori culture is so deeply rooted in Rotorua that it’s even influenced the architecture! Look out for the unique mix of Maori and Tudor architecture.

Located immediately above the Pacific Ring of Fire, Rotorua is also a beautiful destination for sightseeing. A trip on the Rotorua Skyline, a 900m cableway system, gives you unparalleled views of the city and beyond. The best part is getting back down; either take another cable car or luge your way down a specially-created track! Explore the world’s youngest geothermal system at Waimangu Volcanic Valley, which is also home to several varieties of plant and birdlife. Another amazing natural attraction is Tarawera Falls, a spectacular waterfall located halfway up a cliff. Climb to the top and enjoy the view of the crystal-clear river and lush forest from above.

Rotorua proves to be one of the most convenient places to visit in New Zealand, being a 40 minute flight away from the gateway city of Auckland. You can also make a visit to Christchurch and Queenstown in 1¼ hours and 2½ hours respectively. Our cheap flights to Rotorua are ideal to kick-start your New Zealand adventure.
