Great location but lacks the basics

I was ready to give this place 5 stars when I arrived. Nice Art Deco décor, clean spacious rooms and buffet breakfast, but having no aircon and no shower(just a bath and hose) killed that. Also no washing facilities for my clothes when I asked reception - that's quite unacceptable. Staff are helpful where able though; they printed some things for free and posted a couple of letters also for me.
