The check in took a very long time. There was a big line up and only a couple of people at the check in desk. There were a couple of very unhappy people at the main desk that were taking a lot of time. The room we stayed in was in ok condition, there were several light bulbs burned out so, it was very dark in there and the furniture and fixtures were mostly looking weary. The door didn't close properly, had to pull it shut hard to get it to latch. The ice machine didn't have any ice in it. The room cleaning service is apparently by request only so, we didn't come back to fresh sheets or anything tidied up in the room. The lobby space was nicely fixed up, but, the room buildings were in some amount of disrepair. The first night we arrived the irrigation system was on and there appeared to be a broken pipe or something as it started flooding the entire sidewalk, it looked like it was about to get into the main floor rooms as it was flooding very quickly. We told someone who appeared to be a maintenance/staff member and he just looked at it and walked away. The "grass" that was being watered was mostly weeds and not taken care of very well. There was a lot of chipped and faded paint on the exterior, that sort of thing.
This hotel is in a convenient location and has plenty of parking. The woman at the front desk told me that they were in the process of updating and renovating, which they are in dire need of.
