The Dii Elduu cottage was a cute spot up North of Norfolk Island. Ian greeted us at the airport and provided a lot of detailed information which was greatly appreciated and highly useful. The accommodation itself was basic with all that you really need. Two bathrooms was a great feature for more than one guest and the night breeze coming in from all the windows was beautiful, along with the morning light. Beds were reasonably comfy and there was an exceptional amount of towels available, important for the beach trips. Amenities were good with plenty of plates and glasses to use along with a handy kitchen stove- yet cooking was a bit difficult as the pans would all immediately stick to whatever you were cooking, these could use a little upgrade for those lazy night you'd like to eat in. Overall this was a great spot to say, close to everything on the scenic North of the Island with a friendly and chatty host who is clearly willing to help.

Cottage Stay

Pros: Independence, privacy, views, location.
Location: Norfolk Island being so small no matter where you stay you are close to everything. Being a walker it was easy to wander up to Puppies Point daily.
Taking a break from a hectic and stressful work life, Dii Elduu was the perfect location. The quietness, privacy and views made relaxing very easy. Being self-contained gave us the freedom to enjoy our own company without the noise and bustle of some of the many eateries available on the Island. With all attractions being within a short distance of wherever you stayed on the Island, Dii Elduu was situated close to some that were within a comfortable walking distance affording not only the fresh air, but beautiful scenery along the way.
