The hotel had wonderful retro decor, and was one of the nicest looking hotel rooms we have been in. The bathroom was also great. The staff were helpful and kind to us. The location was excellent.
The bed was very hard and the pillows gave us sore necks as they were large and very hard too. The bed looked great, but we were both glad we hadn't booked a second night in it. Our bedroom lights were also somewhat dodgy (they kept turning themselves off, until the staff came to look at them), and the toilet was running and sometimes wouldn't flush.
We would go back, but hope they spend a little money tidying a few things up.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Wellington. Everything within walking distance of apartment, cafes, shops cable car, etc. Te Papa's Gallipoli exhibition was AMAZING, get in early and miss the queues.

Motel was clean and the locum staff very helpful showing us to our room albeit to give us the milk returning a few minutes later to inform us that we had left the rental car lights on. The heating worked very well as did all the other amenities. Simply but effectively equipped mini kitchen was welcomed.
