I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. I absolutely love it. The size of the rooms are massive in comparison to others I have stayed at in Japan.
The bathroom facilities are also great. A large bath and seperate shower and also a separate toilet.
It is very close to universal studios and the city walk. The only hard thing about this hotel is the train system from Osaka. It requires two trains and the platforms are often confusing as to what train you should get on. His has nothing to do with the hotel though.
Excellent buffet breakfast with a huge selection of both Japanese and western food. I will be staying here again when I return in September with school children on an excursion to japan.

What a great area, close to subway, bus & Kyoto station. Hotel clean, comfortable, weird pillows though- one feather & the other a mix of feather and small plastic tubing/pellets. hotel staff very polite and try to as helpful as they can, limited English. Tour desk staff great, with info and all day bus passes
