"Simply amazing"
So many thoughtful little touches really helped make our stay in this friendly, elegant hotel perfect. An iPad in our room for our use while we were there, and a mobile phone to take around the city in our travels, free cake, chocolates, tea and coffee in the shared lounge area, a large private patio with deckchairs adjacent to our very comfortable room, and even personalised luggage tags as an arrival gift. The shower was hot and strong, the breakfasts fantastic, and the advice on what to see and where to eat was excellent. Thank you!

    Pocket Guide: Cape Town

"Check out the mountain!" is a common call around Cape Town. That’s because – no matter how long you spend in Cape Town – the beauty of Table Mountain simply never gets old. When the clouds roll down its ravines, it’s not hard to understand why Cape Town is often considered one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Use our range of Cape Town hotels to explore all that the region has to offer. This cosmopolitan destination is well-known for its thriving arts scene, beautiful beaches, stunning whale-watching, world class restaurants and some of the best shopping in South Africa.

Stroll along the V&A Waterfront at the harbour, and you’ll have your pick of several hundred different shops… or, if you’re after something a bit more educational with the kids, then pop into the "Two Oceans Aquarium". The V&A is also home to the Nelson Mandela Gateway, through which ferries depart for Robben Island, the site of Nelson Mandela’s incarceration during the apartheid years.

Cape Town is also well-known for its wineries; in particular, the areas of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Fraanschoek. These popular destinations are just a day trip away from the city and are ideal for sightseeing and wine tasting. Another popular activity for those visiting Cape Town is experiencing an overnight stay in the "townships", where you can learn what the "real" South Africa is like. If an overnight stay in one of the township B&Bs is not on your schedule, then make sure you set aside some time for a day tour of the various townships.

Of course, no trip to Cape Town would be complete without visiting Table Mountain, one of South Africa’s most famous landmarks. For those with a bit more spring in their step, the top can be reached by following the hiking trail or for the easy route, you can take the Table Mountain Cableway to the top… which only takes around 5 minutes.

We could go on forever about all the things to see and do in Cape Town… after all, there’s a reason that it’s South Africa’s most popular tourist destination. With our range of Cape Town Hotels located throughout the region, all the sights are within easy reach. So go ahead and explore Cape Town… you’ll never find another place like it.

Oh, and one more thing: when you book your hotel in Cape Town through Wotif.com, your booking is instantly confirmed and complemented by a 24/7 Customer Service Team, who are happy to assist with any questions you may have. Lekker!
