Close to our previous home and the moors. House keeping disappointing - bathroom not cleaned over the 5 days of stay amd had to request new towels all bar the last day. Bed made but no change of bedding. Reception staff should be trained to request "how can I help you?" instead of "are you right?"

Last hotel before returning home

Pros: Wide range of facilities and services not readily available away from the hotel.
Cons: See experience notes.
Location: Excellent proximity to relatives living in Bolton. Excellent proximity to historical sites and parks. Relatively close to town
Very good stay overall. Desk staff responded promptly to request to quieten next door room's party/loud conversations. The occupants then moved to a room further down the corridoor - more noise but muted. Breakfasts were excellent. However due to changing plans we had to vacate early on the last day and were unable to have breakfast. Unfortunately we were not able to be given a refund. Management needs to review this policy in the light of best practice customer service.
