I am more than a little confused by this review. Firstly, because this guest checked-in on July 30th and has only now submitted her comments (more than three months later); secondly because the back problems (pre-existing) her male partner has suffered from for many years by his own admission, are now attributable to one of our beds in which he has spent just one night very recently; thirdly, the bed in the apartment in question is just under three years old and has ‘supported’ over 500 room nights without a single complaint thus far; and last but not least (especially in this case), the lack of an oven - this is a studio apartment with a kitchenette - nowhere in the description does it mention an oven. As for the owner being two-faced and other guests ‘underwelmed’, really? The simple fact is that the content of her review, runs so contrary to the vein of all of our other guest feedback, it is almost laughable. In the middle of a busy ski season, I allowed these guests to shorten their four-night stay to two nights and refunded half of their payment. I did this quite simply because there are guests whose behaviour warrants an approach that a normal cancellation policy does not provide for. As an accommodation provider for over twenty years, who strives to meet each and every requirement of our guests by under-promising and over-delivering, this review is well out of order and I am confident that it will be seen by the Expedia community for what it is – an immature and vindictive attempt to damage a small accommodation business for no other reason than puerile spite.
