Safe hotel and location
I have been staying at Al Nimran whenever I visit eastern province. It is a basic hotel but what I like about it is the location. It is easy to find, no problem looking for taxi or uber and most of all I feel safe in that hotel.

Location is perfect, the staff are quick on their feet and helpful. A couple of heads up, don't take the top floor, AC is too loud and you'll never get a good night sleep. And the bed sheets are a bit old, but comfy. So overall, it's good for what I paid

Good accomodations for children
The staff in the hotel gave us an extra cot and a crib for our kids so sleep on. They also provided us with extra sheets/blankets. They were very accomodating. That being said, the carpet was very stained (although it seemed like it had been vacuumed and was "clean"), and there was a hole in the side of the bathtub. The condition of the hotel wasn't great, but we just avoided putting our baby on the stained carpet. The staff was very polite.
