- Over 2 years IT experience
- IT degree or relevant qualification
- Linux/Unix skills
- Oracle, SQL experience
- Hibernate/OR Mapping experience
- EJB, J2EE application server expereince

| Preferred skills |
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Strong written and oral communication
- Python, ASP, Ruby, Apache skills also valued
- Subversion and Maven experience
- Java, JSP, Servlets, XML, JMS, Spring and jUnit
